The shooting camp is an extensive 24-hour, 3-day teaching camp designed to help each player make improvements in his/her shooting technique. All players will have their shooting technique reviewed on video tape.

DIRECTOR IN 2011: Jeff McCarron, Pacesetter Director
Coach McCarron will be directing camps for the 36th year this summer having directed over 200 camps since 1976. He is one of the top shooting clinicians in the Midwest and specializes in teaching championship fundamental skills learned from playing on championship teams with Sherburn (MN state champions - 1970), and the Minnesota Gophers (Big Ten Champions - 1972). McCarron has been a shooting clinician since 1976, and conducted the 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2010 shooting camps.

A variety of shots will be taught along with special moves to get open for these shots in game situations. The focus will be on learning technique first, practicing repetitions second, and creating shots in game situations third. Each player will receive a thorough review of their shooting form and a take-home shooting program.
The 2011 camp will include all offensive skills in half-court and full court situations including one-on-one moves, two-on-two skills, such as give and go, screen and roll, etc., and three-on-three play. Players will also learn full-court ballhandling and fastbreaking skills. Players will play half-court and full-court games as a feature of this comprehensive program. A number of contests and challenges will also be added to keep the camps lively and fun.
