2008 Minnesota Youth State Basketball Championships
Boys & Girls - Grades 5-6-7-8-9

Pacesetter will conduct the 16th Annual Minnesota State Basketball Championships for teams in grades 5-9, starting with regional qualifying tournaments throughout the state this spring. Over 800 teams compete annually in this statewide competition.

Testimonials of Champions

Two of the most dominant Minnesota high school teams in recent history credit this tournament with helping their teams develop. Not only did these teams from small towns win their state class championships, but they both finished as the No. 1 ranked Minnesota team OVERALL.

John Carlson, head boys' coach for Litchfield, Minnesota State Class AA Champions in 2000, 2002, and 2003:
"I can honestly say that we never would have had the success that we did without playing in the Pacesetter tournaments."

Bob Vaughan, head boys' coach for Braham, Minnesota State Class AA Champions in 2004, 2005 and 2006:
"Pacesetter tournaments were and are a key component to our youth and summer program."
