The latest issue of Minnesota Basketball News was the January issue, featuring two 700-win coaches, Jim Smith of St. John’s (men) and Mike Dreier of New London-Spicer (girls).  Other stories featured Faith Patterson, who went to DeLaSalle this year after many successful years at North, and the boys’ class A leading teams from MACCRAY and Ellsworth.  Jeff McCarron’s column focused on shooting instruction and Ron Haggstrom’s commented on Royce White, the Gophers’ top recruit from last year.  Standings of teams by class, rankings by section, individual player statistical leaders and the 2010 Summer Camp Directory completed this issue.

The next issue, the February issue, will be published in late January.
